Message about the process. Usually, computer gurus aren't exactly 'mechanically inclined'. They know how to use a screwdriver (to put their computers together) and possibly a pair of regular and needle nose pliers. Oh ya, and the small flathead screwdrivers for the external port screws.. ;-)

I like how they used the really fine grit to polish the metal, but did you know that when you do that, it makes the metal less absorbant of the heat? Something to do with its reflectivity of energy... (just like with the 'mirror' light reflection). This is something that has been done to pistons too as it increases the thermal boundary layer of the metal and makes it less prone to heat soak, thereby allowing the chemical reaction to heat the gases and not the piston. When the piston absorbs the heat, the gases cool and less power is made. Not to mention it also weakens the piston.
